Privacy Policy

Grow Pops collects only the information needed to answer questions, operate new-answer notifications, protect the website, and understand whether the site is working.

Information you provide

The Ask Grow Pops form may collect your name, email address, and question. The answer-feedback form may collect optional written feedback about a Grow Answer; that feedback is stored with the answer reference and emailed to Grow Pops for review. The Contact Grow Pops form collects your name, email address, contact reason, and message. The notification form collects your email address. A notification subscription is not activated until you confirm it through the link sent to that address.

How information is used

Submitted information may be used to respond to you, consider a question for future content, send notifications you confirmed, prevent abuse, and maintain website security. Grow Pops does not sell personal information.

Email notifications

New-answer notifications are optional. Every marketing notification includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing prevents future marketing notifications unless you later complete a new confirmed signup.

Website and service data

Wix hosts the website and email functions and may process technical information needed to deliver and secure those services. Essential technology remains active because the site cannot operate securely without it.

Analytics and cookie choices

Grow Pops uses Wix analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. This may include page views, traffic source, device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions such as viewing a Grow Answer, opening a related answer, watching a video, sharing a link, requesting notifications, submitting a question, or opening an equipment link. Analytics events are designed not to include the contents of a question, an email address, a confirmation token, or other form entries.

To decide whether to show the cookie prompt, your browser asks country.is for the country associated with its internet address. The service receives that address to answer the request. Grow Pops uses only the two-letter country result and does not store the returned address or ask for precise location. If the lookup fails, analytics stays off and no prompt appears. A VPN or mobile network may make the estimated country inaccurate.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the cookie prompt appears before analytics can run. In the United States, Google Analytics 4 page views may run without a prompt after the country check. In other countries or when the country cannot be verified, analytics stays off unless you choose to allow it through Cookie choices in the footer. A saved choice takes precedence over the country default. Choosing Essential only disables analytics and stops Grow Pops from sending its own analytics events going forward.

Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are disabled in the Grow Pops Google Analytics configuration everywhere. You can reopen Cookie choices from the footer at any time.

Embedded YouTube videos

Episode pages include YouTube players in privacy-enhanced mode. Loading a player connects your browser to YouTube, and playing a video is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. YouTube says views in this mode are not used to personalize your YouTube browsing experience or ads; non-personalized ads may still appear. Grow Pops cookie choices control the site’s analytics, not YouTube’s player. You can also use the Watch on YouTube link beside each player.

Affiliate links

Some equipment links may be affiliate links. Grow Pops may earn a commission if you buy through one, at no additional cost to you. An affiliate click may be counted without recording what you later buy.

Retention and protection

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe through any notification email. To request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, use the Contact Grow Pops form and select “Something else.”

Children

GrowPops.com is not directed to children, and Grow Pops does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated as the website changes. The current revision date will appear at the top of this page.
